Community-wide Family-oriented Early Education


Thursday Talk Time - A weekly meeting with young parents, facilitated by a qualified educator, to explore/discuss parenting concerns.

Mom’s Monthly Share and Swap - Family gatherings to exchange books, toys, clothing, and food, and to share learning experiences, ideas, and information, in an informal setting, placing special emphasis on the lasting value and effectiveness of learning to work and play together in the educational process, while enjoying the benefits of laughter and cooperative teamwork.

Special Purpose Educational Programs


1) Ten Steps to Positive Discipline - Four-week sessions focused on assisting parents, and other caregivers, in learning to reduce power struggles, by communicating with children so they will listen, and discerning the difference between disrespect and typical childhood behaviors, making life less stressful while creating a more effective and enjoyable living/learning environment.

2) Family Music Together - Eight week sessions for parents with toddlers to enjoy and share the learning value of making music together, sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting. Each semester included two separate weekly classes featuring a new song collection in each season.

3) Brain Smart Strategies - Provided four-week sessions for parents covering brain smart strategies for success with sleep, discipline, learning and life.

4) LearnToSucceed.net - Accomplished initial construction and launch of our on-line self-development learning program for adults, with continuing research on identification, collection and maintenance of informative internet links to tips, tools and techniques for participants. Arranged for continuing benefits from this program, with maintenance and future development being the responsibility of VIVA SUCCESS, Inc.

5) SaveOurSpace.info - Sponsored the design/creation and launch of an interactive, environmental education program for upper elementary and middle school age students, emphasizing the need for, and the benefits of, combining the priceless resources of intelligence and teamwork, in addressing the increasing need for vigilant attention and active involvement in caring for our shared home, the planet Earth.

6) TheLivingCircle.us - A means of sharing ideas and information for those actively involved in learning to use resources wisely and well is a constantly-evolving work in process.

7) 21st Century Education - Information-gathering, primarily through the internet, continues on this comprehensive project, gathering facts, figures and outcomes of past and current practices/outcomes in the field of education, as a whole, to be used in exploring the potential of new possibilities.

8) The C-BEE Project - A Community-Based Environmental Education program focused on recognizing and wisely utilizing human intelligence as the vital natural resource it is, with special emphasis placed on sharing useful, usable information, both face-to-face and via the internet, (through TheLearningCircle.us) with people of all ages who are willing to accept a reasonable measure of personal responsibility in the survival of the Planet Earth.
