Numerous community-based learning projects have been undertaken by the Linders Foundation through the years. All of the earlier programs were designed to emphasize the importance of active involvement and demonstration by parents, and other teachers, in the early learning process, with special emphasis placed on the nature, quality and variety of day-to-day experience. Hundreds of local families with young children participated in all our low-cost and cost-free play-and-learn projects. Each event took place under the trained, watchful eye and patient guidance of a professional educator.

Our own personal lifelong learning experience as intelligence-using, thinking, problem-solving humans has been the source of both the questions and the answers which have directed this personalized, intention-driven approach to learning. Our focus has always been on the importance of providing a varied, steady diet of non-harmful, high-quality, mind-opening experience, in a non-threatening, supportive environment. Our role has been, and is, to provide examples, to make suggestions and to share information recognized as having value in assisting searching minds in the lifelong process of developing, to whatever degree is possible, the resource of intelligence which is available to each of us thinking humans, on demand.

Our work is based on the premise that most undamaged humans have ready access to the amazing power of a thinking, questioning, data-processing mind which, when nurtured and set free to dream, to think and to explore can work wonders with the possibilities available to each at any given time. The Linders Foundation recognizes and honors Intelligence as the one omnipresent, free resource, usually ready, willing and able to collect, process, utilize and share useful and usable information on demand, when unrestrained by fear or discouragement.

Intelligence appears to flow through us, constantly, from some unknown, non-visible source, always being ready and available for application, when required and/or desired by conscious thinkers who choose to recognize, acknowledge and utilize its limitless potential. In the absence of fear and undue force, intelligence is, or can be awakened to the presence, the value and the moment-to-moment availability of an instantly-ready source of answers and information, on demand, at our command, as we will. Questions deserving of answers almost always serve as the trigger which can set amazing wheels in motion. Thoughtful, respectful attention, coupled with grateful expectation, is often the price of admission to awesome revelations....
